Dr. George Galvan is a board certified neurosurgeon that specializes in a range of procedures, including minimally invasive spine surgeries, neuromodulation and kyphoplasty. At The Texas Neurosciences Institute, he handles many complex kyphoplasty cases where a fracture may not be localized in one area of the spine. In these situations, complications can occur with the bone pushing back towards the spinal cord. With his extensive experience, Dr. Galvan sometimes performs other procedures in conjunction with the kyphoplasty to protect patients from potentially catastrophic complications.
